This link didn’t get posted last time I pointed you to an article on Purdue’s new asteroid impact calculator. Try it out - it’s fun! Beautiful animation of the spinning globe, I might add. Evidently, this calculator existed in some form before, but the new look makes it accessible and interesting to the public. More, please!

Feeling destructive!? Now you can bombard the earth with asteroids and see the fallout! Oh, joy! Great interactive from Purdue University. And according to this article, we should fear Apophis in 2036. Eek!
