Professional Scientific Illustrators →
Serious talent here, people. The professional members of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators put on an annual juried exhibition and this year, the winners are featured in a slideshow online. These are the kinds of images that capture people’s imaginations and draw them into science from an early age. Keep up the good work, GNSI.

Lying with Photoshop/Amateur Hour at BP →
You have got to be kidding me. BP is fudging images of their clean-up, and so poorly at that? Photoshop fudging is a very serious offense, especially in the science communications world. Sad to see it being used for public relations in such a grave matter.
